Responsibilities: - In conjunction with key stake holders determine their requirements of Web Content Management Sites and design and develop solutions to meet these needs.
- Development, maintenance and support of WCMS and Web Applications.
- Preparation of technical specs and design documents.
- Design, develop and maintain dynamic web content, processes and applications, making sure information is kept secure and meets agreed standards.
- Provide technical guidance, consultation and support for projects and web applications, and other technical staff or project team members, as directed by management.
Requirements: Essential - At least three years web design and development experience.
- Tertiary IT qualification.
- Development of dynamic Web Content Management Systems/Sites
- Appreciation for user interface design
- Strong skills in HTML, JavaScript, XML and CSS
- Good skills in J2EE and Object Oriented methodology, analysis and design.
- Knowledge of current and emerging web technologies, architecture and concepts, and application of the same.
Desirable - Experience in the use of software configuration management tools.
- Experience in the use of content management tools.
- Fatwire Web Content Management System
- SQL Database
- WebSphere Application Server
- Rational Application Developer or Eclipse
