My client is a global provider of engineering design services to a broad range of markets including transport, environment, energy, water and property. Their transport team covers a wide range of disciplines including rail, highways, bridges, and ports and maritime. With a significant growth strategy planned for their Melbourne rail team, my client is seeking a Senior Track Engineer to join them. Reporting directly to the Victorian Director - Rail, in this role you will producing designs for a number of rail projects across Australia.
In this role, you will be responsible for:
- Concept and detailed design
- Client liaison
- Maintaining a high level of technical skill
- Mentoring junior staff
- Working closely with international offices
To be successful in this role you need:
- 7 - 15 years experience in rail engineering
- Experience in design, installation and commissioning
- Knowledge of track design principles and standards
- An understanding of both track design and construction
- Ability to communicate and work closely with clients
