Signalling Design Engineer - All Levels

Our client is the market leader in the development of new technology for signalling and transportation systems worldwide. They have immediate vacancies for a Senior Signal Engineer based in Adelaide.

Responsibilities:

• Preparation of detailed Signalling Scheme Plans.
• Design Signalling Circuits in accordance with current and client signalling practice.
• Check, or act as an independent checker of Signalling Circuits and plans prepared by others.
• Preparation of Processor Based Interlocking application data reflecting current and client signalling practice.
• Design of Signalling Control Tables.
• Checking of relay based signalling design circuits, processor based signalling design data and Control Tables.
• Act as Design Team Leader for nominated projects.
• Testing and commissioning of Relay and Processor Based signalling systems.
• Act as Tester in Charge of signalling projects as nominated.
• Factory and Site Acceptance Testing of signalling systems.
• Act as Principles Tester for Factory Acceptance Testing and/or site testing of systems and equipment.
• Act as a technical mentor for Graduate Engineers and/or IRSE Licensing Scheme.

Qualifications & Experience:

• Degree in Electrical & Electronic Engineering or relevant qualification.
• Minimum 5 years experience in a similar position.
• Corporate membership of IRSE desirable.
