Our client is a leading engineering firm with specialist experience within the construction, defence, infrastructure and process industries.
The organisation specialises in high end technology aspects of major infrastructure and defence projects including the use of specialised products and equipment varying from resins, cement grouts, high tech reinforcement such as carbon-fibre and many other innovative and specialised products.
Due to company growth they are now on the hunt for Junior Project Engineers to join their highly motivated team.
Reporting to the Operations Manager, key responsibilities include the following:
- Liaising with Clients to resolve specification queries and anomalies
- Ensure all Quality, Safety, Environmental and Technical obligations are achieved and maintained.
- Liaison with Project Supervisors to ensure interface program requirements are achieved
- Monitor Sub contractors Performance
- Procurement of material and equipment for specific specialised projects.
- Material and Stock maintenance
- Notifying of Stock purchasing requirements
- Reporting of completed work
- Identification of labour requirements
- Identification of Plant and Equipment Requirements
- Assist Project Team in Business Development within the Protective Coating/Construction Industry
- Identify Market opportunities in Australia and South East Asia
- Assists Commercial Department in tender Submissions
To be considered for this role, you will have the following skills / experience:
- Tertiary qualifications in Engineering
- Demonstrated experience with a minimum of two to three years experience in Construction management, Manufacturing, Marketing or Project Planning.
- Sound relationship building, influencing and communication skills.
- Highly motivated in nature with a 'can-do attitude'.
- A team player with the ability to work to tight deadlines.
This is a challenging and rewarding contract opportunity for a Junior Project Engineer with a minimum of two to three years experience to further develop their skills and experience.
