QUALITY SYSTEMS / BUSINESS IMPROVEMENT MANAGER

Reporting in to the Chief Medical Officer, the quality and business improvement function is a Centre of Excellence in business systems and process improvement. The function designs and delivers effective quality system improvements that promote standardisation and facilitate the provision of management information that meets the needs of all stakeholders.

You will provide national leadership for:

  • Development of the new strategic direction of quality
  • Improving all aspects of the national quality system
  • Management of the QIS including data analysis and KPI reporting
  • Championing the application of agreed new quality principals and the development of continuous improvement culture within the organisation
  • Leadership of the Quality Development team and all manager Quality projects

This role requires an individual who has a proven track record in change and people management coupled with quality and business improvement skills.

Essential skills / qualifications and knowledge include:

  • Tertiary qualification - preferably in a scientific or technical field
  • Proven ability and experience in organisational cultural change programs
  • Proven ability to lead successful transformational change programs
  • Experience and knowledge of project management methodology and related change management requirements
  • Strong communication / interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport with stakeholders
