Client Services Officer

Sydney

This high profile Government Department is seeking the talents of a confident and accomplished Grade 3/4 Client Services Officer to join their finance counselling team.

Reporting to the assistant manager, you will be responsible for looking after the administration of financial cases including the review the implementation of client plans including development of communication strategies with clients and interested parties. This position also coordinates and approves financial expenditure on request.

To be successful in this role you will have:

  • An understanding of the needs and rights & expectations of people with disabilities
  • Well developed communication & interpersonal skills
  • Knowledge of & ability to interpret legislation & apply legal, commercial & financial principles to clients estates
  • Analytical & problem solving skills
  • Good organisational & time management skills

This department prides itself on a good team culture and a safe working environment.

Previous experience within a government department and tertiary qualifications in Psychology or Counselling are highly desirable to see your success with this department.
