Worldwide leader in technology seeks an experienced Technical Expert to join there growing team in the capacity of a Team Leader within there
Digital Certificate Security Services team. Initially a 12+ month contract to join this global team based in Sydney with view to extend.
You will be this team's technical expert. It will be your responsibility to:
- Problem management
- Support the resolution of Critical Client Situations ensuring prompt service restoration, root cause analysis and implementation of long term resolution
- Compliance to appropriate standards.
- Establish Security Delivery metrics at Global Delivery Centres and maturing in A/NZ.
- Project planning and management for multiple projects.
- Ensuring that manufacture software update releases and security vulnerability notifications are implemented.
- Ensuring that Change records and Problem records are closed within agreed time frames.
- Identify areas of opportunity where services can be improved to the customer or delivery costs can be reduced.
- Identify and initiate process re-engineering across Service Line as agreed with the Service Line Owner/Managers
Required Skills:
This is a technical position as such requires you to demonstrate the following:
- A minimum 12 months experience in the IT Security Delivery as a Security Analyst or similar role.
- Technical understanding of Security infrastructure practices.
- PKI and Intel/Digital Certificate technical skills
- Encryption and data protection methods (SSL, VPN, PGP and 3DES).
- PKI security principles and understanding end to end security
- Knowledge of various platforms: UNIX/Linux/Solaris/AIX, Windows, Firewalls, Proxies, Microsoft, Network devices
