Based in Sydney's north western suburbs, this leader in the Australian retailing sector has an opportunity available for a Senior Financial Analyst. They are a growing and expanding organisation with a great office environment and culture that is the envy of many.
The role will see you involved in the:
- Review and analysis of weekly and monthly reporting on key performance metrics for the Online businesses
- Development and review of reporting and analysis to assist the corporate online business unit to meet their objectives
- Business case development for Online projects and Post-Implementation Reviews
- Assist in preparation of Corporate Online Budgets, including interaction with relevant divisional finance peers
- Assistance of the completion of Board and Quarterly Reporting for Online
- Provision of financial capability and analytical support to the Online team.
- Management of a Financial Analyst in the completion of month end accounting duties as well as providing guidance and supervision
- Explore opportunities to increase revenues/decrease costs
- Provide business case support for new online businesses and new initiatives
- Manage relationship with 3rd party payment gateway and fraud management partners
- Development of forecasts, budgets and month end analysis
- Track performance to business case
- Manage and report on the Capex for the Online team
You will bring to the role:
- CA, CPA or equivalent standard
- Master/Undergraduate degree in a commercial discipline
- Prior experience in budgeting, reporting & analysis, business modelling and sensitivity analysis.
- Prior experience in setting up projects including financial evaluation, running projects and implementing the outcomes
- Excellent communication skills to be able to communicate Online initiatives across the group as well as the ability to communicate effectively with key internal stakeholders
- Minimum 5 year professional/commercial experience in Financial and Management Accounting.
- Previous retail experience is advantageous
