My client is one of Australia's largest retail Garden Centre and Lifestyle group. They have 14 retail stores and are growing their presence year by year.

Due to their rapid growth I am seeking a motivated and talented Field Support Officer to undertake support and particapate in various infrastructure projects. 

This role will see you very hands-on and leading from the front in a dynamic retail environment:
You will possess the following attributes:

• Good working knowledge in Retail Point of Sale system & EFTPOS internal support
• Understanding of Lotus Notes/Domino, MS SQL Server, MS Office
• Understanding of LAN/WAN Administration and Support (Windows NT/2003) in a server environment
• Strong troubleshooting skills, well honed commonsense, and a logical approach to resolution of incidents.  
• Available for on-call support duties

IT qualifications are essential with extensive end user support experience. Excellent all-round people skills, problem solving expertise and ability to meet deadlines are essential.

This position involves working a rotating weekend support roster and on-call availability. Your own vehicle is essential as you will need to travel between our retail stores where required.

Salary commensurate upon experience.

Most importantly this role requires someone who understands how to communicate with a business to gain buy-in.   Excellent communication skills and the ability to influence is required.
