Our client, a Global Financial Services firm has growing requirements to increase its Project Management capacity due to an infulx of acquisitions and a large level of investment in technology projects. This market leading finance organisation is a top tier organisation that hires the best the market has to offer and looks to provide talented individuals with rewarding and highly stimulating careers.

The Project Management team are highly experienced and are regularly managing large organisation spanning projects with frequent regional/global interactions. The team prides itself on its extensive experience both technical and operational for project management and can draw on many years of experience in financial services and more specifically the funds management area. The team operates through a hybrid in-house framework that leverages the better points of PMP and PRINCE 2 methodologies.

Due to an ever increasing pipeline of technical projects they are now looking for a mid-range project manager to handle engaging projects with multiple users and business streams. You will take hands-on responsibility for initially the mid range projects within the portfolio that will see you engage with key stakeholders up to the Executive Director level. This opportunity is looking for an individual keen to learn and grow, leveraging an impressive knowledge base and depth of experience in finance, but ultimately driven by delivery in complex environments.

Essential Skills

• 4 Years+ Experience in successful project delivery and management
• Strong interpersonal and stakeholder management skills.
• Project Management experience with a strategic sourcing model (onshore/offshore) for project delivery
• Strong process knowledge of the project delivery
• 3- 10 years in Finance, ideally across Investment Accounting, Transaction Processing, Unit pricing, Trade pricing, Analytics, Registry
• Track record of successful delivering large scale complex finance projects
• Exposure and use of a variety of PM methodologies (PMP: PRINCE 2: PMBOK)
• Official Project Management Certification (Preferred)
