DUMP TRUCK OPERATOR Opportunities exist for skilled and experienced Dump Truck Mining Operators for a short term contract in the Middlemount area. An absolute commitment to working safely, complying with all site safety standards and ensuring a safe and environmentally healthy workplace is essential. It is imperative that you possess the ability and aptitude to maintain high standards of safety, equipment serviceability, housekeeping and compliance with mine working procedures. The successful candidates must have the following in order to be considered for these positions: Civil, coal or hard rock experience on min Cat 777 rear dump truck; A willingness to work rotating rosters; Ability to contribute and work positively in a team environment; Coal board medical; Coal Surface Generics; Provide a clear drug and alcohol test. Camp accommodation will be provided while working on site. Please note that we are not employing trainees or clean skins at this time, only experienced people

Due to an increase in the project demands, this on-going opportunity will provide successful candidates with a permanent room, a 2/1 roster and competitive pay rates- and the ability for the candidate to be a car ride from home- skipping the FIFO. A Certificate of Competency for operating is a must and operators with proven production mining experience will be considered. Successful candidates will have exposure to the following range of equipment: - CAT 777, 785, 789, 793 dump trucks - Hitachi EX2500 excavators or larger - CAT D10/D11 dozers - CAT 14/16H graders To wrap up, the basic requirements that exist. - A Nationally recognised Competency ticket. - A minimum 1 year experience in a relevant environment (proven) Successful candidates will also be required to pass a full medical, drug & alcohol and possess a police clearance.
