Each department works as a small, unique team based business unit in close unison with other teams, offering the chance to be more than just a number yet a pivotal part of something much larger.

Your objective as Senior Mine Engineer within the Resource Development and Technology team will be to provide technical input on current and future operations in WA and globally. You will be supporting studies in resource development and undertake prefeasibility and feasibility of expansion projects. You will be accountable for the mine planning aspect on selected studies and the coordination with other teams to provide input into mine planning. Key skills and experience required:

• Mine design and optimisation
• Mining strategies
• Project planning
• Strong negotiation and communication skills
• Ability to innovate

This role will require a highly experienced mine engineer that has worked in the feasibility stages of new projects and also long term strategic planning. A candidate that has had some experience in production will also be favourably looked upon. It is necessary that you have a Bachelors degree in Mine Engineering and any post graduate qualifications will be considered.

On offer is a total package $200k - $250k which will include a base salary (negotiable), super, individual and team based bonuses. This is a Perth based role, however some travel might be required on an irregular basis.
