Property Management Department Head - CBD Office
Located in Melbourne's CBD our client is a large, well known Agency that is seeking a Department Head/Senior Property Manager to oversee a team of five Property Managers.
Reporting to the Director this role will entail overseeing an experienced Property Management team of five Property Managers & an Assistant Property Manager while managing a small portfolio of 150 properties.
Impressive salary package of up to $72K depending on experience. Hours
• Mon-Fri 8:30am-5:30pm
• Every second Saturday 9am-1pm
Each day will be varied and will include:
• Leading & managing a team of five
• Ensuring all department systems & procedures are followed
• Manage KPI's / budgets
• Managing reports and overall department growth
• Working closely with Managing Director and Operations Manager
• Handle conflicts and complaints
• Leading weekly Property Management meetings
• Managing a portfolio of 150 properties
• Liaising with tenants/landlords
• Leasing properties
• Attending VCAT when required
• Organising repairs & maintenance
Core competencies which must be met to secure this brilliant role include:
• A high level of oral and verbal communication skills
• Previous people management experience in the Real Estate industry
• Outstanding initiative to add value to this business
• Strong drive to set goals and ensure achievement
• Strong team building and management skills
• Excellent Property Management knowledge with experience in a similar role

The successful candidate for this rare opportunity will have a minimum of 5+ years previous PM experience, a current Agents Representative Certificate/Real Estate License & previous people management experience in the Real Estate industry.
