A leading global pharmaceutical company, specialising in dermatology, are seeking a Purification Team Leader for their API manufacturing operations. The purification teams are responsible for manufacturing an Active Pharmaceutical Ingredient (API) within a clean room environment, utilizing techniques such as flash chromatography, preparative HPLC, and crystallisation.
Your role as Team Leader is a multifaceted role, where you take on supervisory duties, training, and quality functions while also leading by example with 'hands-on' work in the purification rooms.
To be succesful in the role, you will require
- Bachelor's or higher degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, or similar.
- Extensive experience in GMP manufacture.
- Expertise in separation chemistry and/or purification techniques
- Experieence with Qualifications, Process Validation, Change Control and CAPAs
- Ability to lead a team of highly-trained scientists in production
- Ability to supervise teams over a 24/7 shift roster
