Due to promotional activity, the position of Parts Interpreter has become available. The main focus of the role is to ensure all incoming enquiries are attended to in a prompt efficient manner. Your duties will include: - Machine sales interpretations
- Attending to technical and service issues
- All administration of rental fleet
- Administration of Warranty
- Inputting all data into SAP and spreadsheet analysis
- Controlling the opening of service notifications and issuing the jobs accordingly to the service field reps
- Following up on purchase orders and order numbers
- Following up of outstanding service debtors
- Processing warranty claims
- Providing feedback on stock shortages and inventory errors
- Analysing parts pricing, query accuracy and advising of possible adjustments
- Arranging transportation of machinery and parts
- Handling customer complaints
To qualify for this position, you MUST have the following skills and attributes: - A minimum of one year experience in a mechanical technical or machine operator position
- Thorough knowledge of all parts manuals for machines/cars
- Excellent numeracy skills
- Mechanical aptitude
- A logical thinker with great organisational skills
- Sound computer knowledge
- Good customer service skills
