My client is an established and expanding flat pack manufacturing company located in Melbournes SE. The company is thriving and expanding into new markets therefore an experienced Setout / Assembly Foreman is required to join the company in a permanent capacity.

Responsibilities will include:

• Inputting of cabinetry specifications into setout program for estimating and quoting
• Responsible for the check measuring and setout of all designs commercial joinery/cabinetry, wardrobes, kitchens etc
• Ensure high accuracy of measurement
• Checking of plans and all job details with each client to ensure the contract documents are true and correct prior to production
• Following the job through from the setout stage and linking it to our machinery for manufacture
• Being the assemblers point of contact for each job

The successful candidate will have the following experience & skills:

• Previous experience in a cabinetry manufacturing business
• Previous experience in a setout role
• Previous experience in production/foreman role
• Ability to project manage your workload autonomously, to achieve project deadlines
• Must have good skills with prior use of computerised set out programs
• Read and interpret detailed commercial plans
• Great attention to detail
• Have a positive approach
• Ability to work under pressure
• Be comfortable to work inside and outside the factory
• Have good communication skills, verbal and written
• Be proactive at finding solutions and managing workflow
• Red card preferred but not essential

 The position is paying up to $70K package and offers future career growth for the right person.
